The CD recording of Soaring Free is available throughout Peebles and also included on Eric's album The Colour of Dreams.

The song, based on a poem featuring Peebles by local poet Maureen Samson, was composed and recorded by former Peeblean Eric Bogle.

The proceeds for the sale go to the Eastgate Theatre and Arts Centre thanks to the generosity of Eric Bogle and Maureen Sansom.
