Snow falling in Peebles on Christmas Eve 2004

First Snowfall of the season in Peebles happened during Christmas Eve.

Most children (and some adults) were most happy to see the day go from dry and cold to snowy in the early evening.

The pictures used in this animation were taken from the Mercat (market) Cross facing the High Street.

The first image in the series was taken when stores were open in the late afternoon about 4.30.

The others were taken as the snow was falling around 7:30 pm.
